Who we are

MacroPulse is operated by MacroPulse Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17347601), registered office at Apartment 408 Belfield Mansions, 35 Heygate Street, London SE17 1LF, United Kingdom. What information we collect

We collect data when you register, subscribe, contact us or use our website. Your payment details are handled securely by our payment provider; we do not store your card details ourselves. You may browse the public parts of our website anonymously.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and operate the service, process your subscription, respond to your enquiries, send you service-related emails, keep our service secure and prevent abuse, improve our website, and meet our legal obligations.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Some are essential — they keep you signed in and protect our forms from automated abuse — and are required for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used or, where we run advertising, measure the results of our campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then stop working.

The Discord bot

If you add the MacroPulse bot to a Discord server, we store what is needed to deliver the feed to it: the server’s ID and name, the ID of the channel we create, the webhook credential we post through, the Discord user ID of the person who installed it, and Discord’s own approximate member and online counts for that server. The user ID lets us answer “who set this up?” when a server admin contacts us; the counts tell us how many people the feed reaches.

The bot does not read anything. It holds no Discord gateway connection and no message intents, so it cannot see messages, member lists or any other server content — it only posts, through a webhook, into the one channel it created. We never sell or share any of it for advertising.

Removing the bot, or deleting the channel it posts to, stops the feed: we mark that installation inactive on the next release and post nothing further. We keep the inactive record so a later reinstall reuses the same channel rather than creating a second one. To have it erased entirely, email us at support@macropulse.com with the server name or ID, and we will delete it within 30 days.

Do we share your information?

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with trusted third parties who help us operate MacroPulse — such as our payment, email and hosting providers — and only so they can perform those services for us. Each is required to keep your data confidential. We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the security of our service.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep certain records — for example, billing records, which we retain for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@macropulse.com. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

How we protect your information

We use appropriate measures to keep your personal data secure and restrict access to it, and your card details are handled entirely by our payment provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users where appropriate.
